Aid for Hurricane Sandy

Watching Hurricane Sandy sweep over the East Coast last week was heart breaking. There has been bright moments through it all, stories of neighbors helping one another out. Please join us in helping these cities and communities we love!

WE Bike NYC had a thorough list of resources for those in New York:
Bikeapolis – Bike train locations (think “carpool” for cyclists) and rental info
Bikenyc.org – Citywide cycling resource from Transportation Alternatives
Also from Bikenyc.org- Transportation Alternatives commuter supports
Brooklynspoke – List of open Bike Shops
Streetsblog – General info about the streets, transit, cycling and walking
Bicycling.com – Important post-hurricane cycling tips
Bloomberg.com – Advice for Post Sandy Traffic: Take the Bike

For all us farther away, the Huffington Post has a long list of aid organizations. Maria and I both have many connections to the East Coast, through family, trips, and all our wonderful Po Campo fans. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the storm.
