1. Tell us a bit about your hometown. Where do you insist on taking out of town guests?

I live in Des Moines IA, it is a wonderful city with great places to visit. The East Village is such a cool part of the town with so many local shops and dinning opportunities.

2. Where is your favorite place to take your Po Campo?

I use my Logan trunk bag every day to take my lunch to work. I only work a 1/2 mile from my house, as a elementary school librarian, and It is a perfect for lunch and some books and some knitting.

3.  A suggestion for women who are interested in biking but have safety concerns?

At first it is a bit scary to go out on rides or walks on your own, but the more you do it the more confidence you get. And then it is some wonderful alone time. Just dress to be seen.

4. Favorite biking memory?

RAGBRAI. The bike ride across Iowa is a wonderful experience and completely unforgettable. My husband and I made the ride before we were married. After a week in the bike seat we knew we could make it through anything.

5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or dead) who would it be, and why?

I know you said person living or dead, but I'm a bit obsessed with a character in the book I'm reading right now. Jamie Fraser (James Alexander Malcom MacKenzie Fraser) form the book Outlander. He is an amazing 18th century Scotsman, who is full of stories and has a wonderful accent, that would be pleasing to listen to.
