02/23/15 Press Release: Mother’s Day Collaboration

Chicago-based Po Campo has teamed up with Bright Endeavors to help you celebrate your mom, while helping other, less-fortunate mothers out. Po Campo makes stylish bike, yoga and casual bags for active, urban-minded individuals. Bright Endeavors is a Chicago non-profit that creates luxury bath products, while providing job training to young mothers. The program is a pathway out of poverty for more than 280 women and 300 children in Chicago each year.

“As a women-run small business, Po Campo is always looking for ways to empower other women,” said Maria Boustead, Po Campo’s owner and designer. “This partnership allows our customers to give their moms a unique Mother’s Day gift, while helping young mothers in the Bright Endeavors program to feed their children and improve their lives.”

Po Campo is offering two different gift sets: The Nice Ride Mothers Day Gift Set and the Pretty Pamper Mothers Day Gift Set. Each retails for $45.

Po Campo makes bags that fit your life. What began as a desire by Chicago industrial designer Maria Boustead for stylish bike bags has grown into a full line of casual lifestyle bags designed to help you stay active and engaged in the world around you. Constructed of weatherproof, vegan fabrics and featuring practical details like reflective accents and intuitively placed pockets, Po Campo bags are built for experiencing the joys of city life – and looking good doing it. Since May 2013, Po Campo has partnered with World Bicycle Relief, a Chicago nonprofit that provides bicycles to rural African communities, giving them access to healthcare, education and economic opportunities. To date, Po Campo donated 25 bikes. In 2014, Newcity magazine named Boustead one of Chicago’s top 50 designers. For more information, visit online at http://pocampo.com.
