About Marin County Bicycle Coalition

Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC), based in Fairfax California, has been steadily improving their county’s roads, multi-use pathways, and off-road facilities for cyclists and pedestrians. MCBC’s work improves quality of life in many ways:

- increasing opportunities for daily physical activity

- teaching children and adults to be skilled and safe bike riders

- reducing road congestion and greenhouse gas emissions

- providing affordable and equitable transportation options

Their goal is for 20% of all trips in Marin to be made by bicycling or walking by 2020!

MCBC also organized two types of group rides to fundraise their advocacy programs. The Tour de Marin is a scenic ride on paved roads, while the Dirt Fondo Series rides focus on the areas wealth of mountain biking trials. After all, mountain biking started in Marin County! We love there's a ladies only ride, the Jane Fondo.

Why we’re partnering with Marin County Bicycle Coalition

Improving bike infrastructure and encouraging new riders is important work! MCBC has already made an impact in their county with permanent bike racks, bike lane striping, green-and-white bike route signs, road resurfacing, ‘sharrow’ road stencils, and so much more. Plus they teach the next generation of riders important skills, which keeps kids excited about cycling. We're excited to help contribute to their projects.

About Po Campo

Po Campo makes bags that fit your life. Founder Maria Boustead started the company when she was looking for a bag functional enough to attach to her bike while riding through Chicago and stylish enough to use as her normal bag off the bike. When she couldn’t find any bag with that versatility, she decided to make it herself.

Constructed of weatherproof, vegan fabrics and featuring practical details like reflective accents and intuitively placed pockets, Po Campo bags are built for experiencing the joys of life.
