Hidden Pockets (because you really can never have too many pockets)
Willis Stem Bag - This might look like a standard feed bag, but flip it over and you’ll find a discreet, zippered pocket on the underside. Sometimes all you need on a ride is the Willis, something small, sturdy but large enough to carry your morning venti from Starbucks. With a 2.2L interior, an exterior phone pocket, and a hidden base pocket for cards, keys, or cash, it’s packed with functionality.
Vernon Trunk Bag - If you know Vernon, you likely already know about all the organizational pockets it features. But did you know about the lock pocket? That’s right, a dedicated pocket just for your bike lock. And if your lock doesn’t seem to fit, Marty’s got you covered—check out her quick tutorial video below.
Orchard Grocery Pannier - Small grocery trip turned big haul? No problem. The 26L Orchard Grocery Pannier has a hidden flap and Velcro insert to add structure at the base - super handy when you're carrying heavier loads.
This brings us onto our second Orchard easter egg… closures. Whether your Orchard is packed full or almost empty, you have the option of velcro closures on either side of the pannier and a top cinch hook for added security while you’re riding. A Bike Commuters Dream: The Bedford Backpack Pannier
The Bedford Backpack Pannier has a lot of features… like a lot of features. We could do an entire blog post dedicated to Bedford (stay tuned for that!) but one particularly throughout feature is the laptop sleeve. Marty made it padded, of course, for extra protection, a gusset for easy access and an unsealed top seam that provides extra room for bigger laptops and folders so that it always zips shut, no matter what.
