Fan Photo Contest: February

Each month we will be choosing our favorite Po Campo fan photo to display on the blog. We see all of your beautiful pictures on Instagram, but if there are photos you’ve taken with your Po Campo bag that you haven’t posted online, feel free to send them our way! You can email your fan photos to photos@pocampo.com or tag your photos with #pocampo for a chance to win a FREE PO CAMPO BAG.

Our January winner is Lisa, who runs a great blog with lots of family biking tips! Congrats, Lisa!

1. Where is your favorite place to take your Po Campo bag?

Everywhere! My Armitage Satchel is my default bag & goes with me when I take the kids to the park, when I go out shopping, whenever. It often rides in the big front basket of my Yuba Mundo cargo bike when I go out with my two kids, but I also strap it to the rack or handlebars of my old beat up hybrid when I’m riding alone.

2. A favorite tip (or two) about how you incorporate mindfulness and healthy habits into your daily life.

Not so much about mindfulness, but more about habits. The lazy person’s way of changing habits: make the good habits easier to do than the bad ones. I bike or walk most places & rarely drive because we don’t own a car. Driving requires making a car share booking, going to pick up the car, installing car seats, etc. It’s way easier to just jump on the bike! Same with healthy eating. If there is junk food or sweets in the house, I will eat it. So I have a big bowl of fruit out in plain sight, avoid buying things without a lot of food value like pop, juice, cookies, or potato chips. If I want a salty, crunchy snack, I have to make popcorn. If I want sweets, I have to bake cookies.

3. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or dead) who would it be, and why?

Margaret Atwood & Cory Doctorow. I love their writing, but they’re both really interesting people. I’d love to have a conversation with the two of them about where they think our world is headed in the next 50 years.
