1.Tell us a bit about your hometown . Where do you insist on taking out of town guests?
I live in Washington D.C. So need less to say there are so many incredible places to see. The Lincoln memorial at night is a must when guests come to visit me! Nothing like seeing the Lincoln lit up at night and being able to look out over the reflection pool!
2. Where is your favorite place to take your Po Campo?
I don't know if I could narrow down my favorite place to take my Po Campo. I bike the city daily and like to explore new areas that I have never been to before. If I had to pick tho I would say to movies in the park! I pack up my Po Campo and I'm ready for a picnic and a movie!
3. A favorite tip (or two) about how you incorporate mindfulness and healthy habits into your daily life?
I live a pretty active lifestyle, but sometimes it's hard to get motivated to do different activities! A weekly schedule is a must for me. Pick something you love to do and plan at least two days out of the week to do that activity, mix it up and invite a friend! Having an activity buddy to help keep you accountable really helps!
4. A suggestion for women who are interested in biking but have safety concerns?
Bike safety is definitely important. If you don't have a partner to ride with try to stay in safe areas, stay on a well lit bike path, have proper lights and reflectors. Tell a neighbor or friend where you are going. And don't be afraid to use your bell!
5. Secrets for managing helmet hair?
Helmet hair, just rock it :)
6. Favorite biking memory?
My favorite biking memory has to be from a week I spent in Hilton Head SC with family. The island is so fun to bike around, place a speaker in you Po Campo and jam!
7. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or dead) who would it be, and why?
My grandmother. She always knew how to make me laugh and was one of the best Italian cooks of all times! Yum!
8. If you could be amazing at playing any one instrument, which would you pick?
I have always been musically challenged, but have always wanted to be able to play the violin!
9. If you could wake up fluent in any language, which would it be?
I would love to be fluent in many languages! I think Spanish would be the most beautiful.
10. What song do you always sing when you sing karaoke?
I have severe stage fright so I would stick with my comfort song, the Beatles "All You Need Is Love"
