Will the Vernon MIK Trunk Bag work with my bike or e-bike?
The Vernon MIK only works with MIK-compatible rear racks. Look for the MIK® logo on your rack. Many newer bikes from brands like Gazelle, Trek, Specialized and Giant come with MIK racks already installed.
What is the MIK system?
MIK® is a click-on mounting system for bike accessories. It lets you securely attach and remove compatible bags from your rear rack in seconds—no straps or tools required.
Can I lock the Vernon MIK Trunk Bag to my bike?
Yes. Use the included long key to lock the bag to your MIK rack during quick stops. For everyday riding, we recommend leaving the short key inserted for easy click-on, click-off use.
What's the difference between the Vernon and Vernon MIK?
Both bags offer the same 15.7L capacity, 10-pocket organization, waterproof materials and limited lifetime warranty. The Vernon MIK includes a permanently attached MIK adapter, allowing it to click directly onto compatible MIK racks and lock to your bike.
Can I remove the MIK adapter plate?
No. The MIK adapter is permanently attached to the bag. Removing it will void the warranty.
What if I lose my MIK key?
Replacement keys are available through the MIK Key Service using the key number printed on your adapter plate. Po Campo cannot provide replacement keys.
Is the Vernon MIK weatherproof?
Yes. Waterproof-coated fabric and covered zippers help keep your belongings protected from rain, while reflective accents improve visibility in low-light conditions.
