Features of the Ara Reflective Backpack
Great commuting backpack
I got this backpack because I needed one that fits my 17" laptop and this backpack does the job great! I'm able to fit my laptop, clothes, shoes, breakfast and lunch with no issues. It's been great so far and pretty comfortable too.
So well thought out
This is my dream commuting bag - easily enough space for my laptop, d-lock, lunch, a change of clothes, and a little more besides. And it looks sleek and chic - not a utilitarian sporty bag. My partner now wants their own too.
I really like everything about the backpack except that there is no drawstring or other way to ensure that nothing falls out (e.g., if on plane and lying flat). Also, the two magnetic pieces in the top flap came loose and fell off after the first use. I ******* them back on pretty tightly afterwards, and they seem to have been fine since.
My new GO-TO bag!
I just love everything about this bag! It has compartments in all of the right places. The helmet harness comes out when you need it and stows away when you don't. The fabric is sleek but fun AND REFLECTIVE! The shape of this bag helps everything stay organized. It holds a lot but doesn't feel too cumbersome. I especially love the side pocket for when I swing it around in the front.
Love all the pockets!
I got my Ara a few weeks ago & immediately loved the feel of the fabric. It feels lived in, soft, but sturdy. The reflective details are a great addition to make me feel a bit safer at night, & I love how they integrate into the design--it doesn't look like "bike gear", just a nice backpack. I love all the pockets for organizing my stuff & appreciate the little details like the suspended laptop sleeve inside, & the little clips for keys & fobs. The bag is a nice size, holding all the stuff I need for a day of work or play, but in a nice slim shape. I also liked the hidden elastic strap & clip so that I could attach the bag securely to a rail or scooter handlebar. I actually used this to hang it from the bed rail when I was in the hospital to keep my bag handy.
